Agriculture history:
We have been cattle producers for a big part of our lives. We both grew up on farms, our grandparents and parents were cattle producers and Bev’s parents, sisters and brothers were poultry producers. Agriculture runs deep through our veins.  Even as we worked “in town” while our children were growing up, we were always connected to agriculture in some way. Our kids enjoyed showing livestock at the county fairs and 4-H and FFA were also big parts of their lives.  After our youngest son went to college and a lease ran out on a farm we’d been leasing for the previous five years, we decided to buy the 540-acre cattle farm we live on today. That was in 1993.

A few years later, we bought a poultry farm near our cattle farm and raised broilers for the next 15 years. We learned to deal with both the ups and downs of the poultry business.

We also worked with poultry farmers to form an organization, Poultry Partners, Inc., in 2005 (active until 2012) which was an advocate to give a voice to farmers and also provide educational opportunities to poultry farmers.

This past year we sold the poultry farm so we could spend more time with God, family and our cattle farm.

Selling your farm or ranch:
We would like to put our lifetimes of agriculture experience to work for you. We are ready to work for you and your family if you would like to sell your property and commit to work hard to find buyers.

Having worked in both the poultry and cattle industries, we understand both the production-business and the financial-business sides of the industries.

We are honored to be working for and with two very experienced brokers, James and Amy Cochran, who have formed a new company, Oklahoma Land Brokers, in conjunction with their currently real estate company, Cochran & Associates Real Estate, LLC in Tahlequah Oklahoma that was established in 2005. They are very knowledgeable and experienced in marketing farms and ranches in Oklahoma.

If you are interested in a farm/ranch evaluation, please contact us. We would very much appreciate the chance to work for you.
